Scheepjes Yarn Skies Heavy (101 - Cirrus) for Crafters

The new Scheepjes SKIES yarns are crafted from an all-natural 100% Premium Blend cotton, making them incredibly soft, akin to holding a cloud. Dyed using the beautiful shades of Indigo, a textile dye dating back to 4000BC, these yarns feature subtle colour contrasts and a hand dyed appearance. The range spans from the pale blue of a partially overcast Spring morning to the deep Indigo of a midday Summer sky, transforming then to the sinister olive greens which overcome grassy pastures in the midst of a storm, capturing the beauty and volatility of our glorious atmosphere with SKIES.

These 100% Cotton yarns are a 100% Premium Blend, with a weight of 5 - Bulky/Chunky. They require US 10 / 6.0 mm needles and should be hand washed, dried flat, and low ironed. Each 100 g / 3.5 oz skein measures 170 m / 186 yards, with a gauge of 18 sts x 16 rows = 10 cm / 4".
