Scheepjes Yarn - Terrazzo - Wool Blend Tweed (731 - Millennio)

Scheepjes Terrazzo is a premium blend of 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose, creating a luxurious felted, tweed yarn with a stunning speckled color effect reminiscent of terrazzo floors. The breathability of Wool and Viscose combines the best qualities of both, with lightweight Viscose providing moisture absorbency and a silky soft feel with beautiful drape, while the wool contributes a rustic appearance and wonderful warmth. This versatile yarn is suitable for a diverse range of crochet and knitting projects, from clothing such as sweaters and cardigans to fashion accessories and homeware, and can be effectively combined with other Scheepjes yarns in different textures.

To ensure projects crafted with Scheepjes Terrazzo maintain their absolute best, Scheepjes recommend hand washing only at a maximum temperature of 30°C, with minimal agitation to prevent possible further felting. Excess water should be gently squeezed out, rather than wrung.

Scheepjes Terrazzo is available in 50 g / 1.75 oz skeins, with a length of 175 m / 195 yards and a Yarn Weight of 3 - Light/DK. The recommended gauge is 27 sts x 35 rows = 10 cm / 4", with a suggested needle size of US 6 US / 4.0 mm.
