The yarn Cahlista, which means 'beautiful one', is a 100% un-mercerized cotton aran weight yarn that has been optimized to reduce splitting while maintaining a soft drape. This yarn has been double gassed, meaning it has been passed over a naked flame twice to singe away any random fibers, creating a super smooth yarn that glides effortlessly on the hook or needles.

Cahlista comes in 99 shades with recognizable shade numbers, allowing for projects that combine different yarn weights but maintain the same shades, such as using Scheepjes Catona, Sweet Treat, and Sugar Rush.

The yarn is 100% natural cotton and is machine washable, with instructions to dry flat and low iron. It has a yarn weight of 4 - Medium/Worsted/Aran, with a skein weight of 50 g / 1.75 oz and a length of 85 m / 97 yards. The gauge is 19 sts x 23 rows = 10 cm / 4", and the recommended needle size is US 7 / 4.5 mm.
